Hello,guys.welcome to daily spoken English.欢迎来到每日口语.又是新的一周了，这周我有朋友要休假外出游玩、有家人要出国游学，各位小伙伴们肯定也有繁忙的工作要做，或者是很多计划要执行，我非常非常希望每个人、每件事都能“plain sailing”. Ok,每天一点分享，你我共同进步,today,I want to  share a phrase with you,that is plain sailing.

Then,what’s meaning of the phrase “plain sailing”?这个短语是什么意思呢？Plain是平的、平原、平地；Sailing是帆船运动、航行。这个短语的本意是指在平原般的海面上航行，也就是说顺利的航行。那现在呢，ok,if something is plain sailing,it’s very easy to do and there are no problems to overcome.一件事情做起来很容易也没有什么克服不了的，也就是我们常说的一帆风顺、一切顺利。

Once we get this problem out of the way, the rest is plain sailing.

一旦我们把这个问题解决了, 其余的事情就会一帆风顺了。
